All the employees & management are friendly courteous and aim to please, They find solutions to our needs as clients,,,, I have banked all over the world.... • Review of "Fieldstone Riding Club" at Moorpark

  I grew up riding hunter/jumpers and as an adult I have ridden off and on for many years. Previous to riding at Fieldstone, I had a nasty fall and was on a too-green horse for my riding level which really shook my confidence (it's like two toddlers watching over each other). Three years later, I decided it was time to get back on a horse and I called Michelle at Fieldstone. At our first phone call, she was amazing. She understood I had some emotional issues with deep roots that I needed to overcome and that put me right at ease. I needed to get back on a horse I could trust. I scheduled an eval, pulled my old boots and helmet out of storage and anxiously awaited my eval (VERY reasonably priced for riding in LA). At my eval I was greeted by Michelle's horsemen daughters and other boarders who were all very friendly, very knowledgeable and spoke highly of Michelle. I nervously climbed aboard Pippin, a 17 year old OTTB. Leading up to my lesson, I thought I might just walk and trot, MAYBE canter if I had the confidence. As soon as I started trotting, it all came back. Within 10 minutes I was cantering around like a day hadn't passed since the last time I rode. Michelle's knowledge of my riding style and it's quirks were evident and she was giving me direction that I had never heard before which was effective and kindly delivered (something rare in the horse-world these days). Thanks to being on a safe, comfortable horse I was able to concentrate on my riding, not what was going to happen to me. By the end of my lesson I was cantering cross-rail courses and excited to be riding again. Since my eval, I've scheduled weekly lessons and it's all coming back- my leg, my confidence, my eye and I'm even breaking old habits before they come back stronger than before. I can't thank Michelle, her smart horsewomen daughters and most of all, Pippin, for giving me the courage to get back on. It's a great barn atmosphere, and I'd like to think in a few years I may be boarding my own horse here. If you are thinking about getting your kids into riding, or if you are thinking about getting back on, Fieldstone is the place to go. I drive an hour each way to get there and it's TOTALLY worth it. Michelle is fabulous!

• Review of "Moorpark Child Development Center" at Moorpark

  Although I came here as a student observer, not a parent dropping off their child, I observed nothing but love and care from these 'teachers' to the kids. The school has a very open approach with the children preferring to listen rather then dictate. Check the school out, you won't be disspointed. All of the teachers at the center are sweeter then honey, but personally for me, learning from teacher Shannon was a privilege.

• Review of "Moy Serrano - State Farm Insurance Agent" at Moorpark

  Didn't really have any issues until someone at this office dropped the ball on my insurance and there was a loss on that vehicle. I specifically asked for certain coverages that cover vandalism and theft and it was never added to my policy. Low and behold the vehicle is burglarized, broken window and tagged with graffiti all over. When I go to make a claim they tell me that I'm not covered. I contact this office to clarify why the adjuster is telling me I don't have the coverages I had requested. They tell me I never asked for them. This is clearly not the case, the vehicle this one replaced had the coverages and the new one was supposed to carry over the same types of insurance. Moy and his staff have lied through their teeth to the adjusters and corporate statefarm management and are refusing to own up to their mistakes. Needless to say, this is not the type of place I care to conduct business with, and I have lost all faith in them to properly manage my insurance needs. If you're considering this agent to handle your insurance, I would strongly suggest you find a different agent.
